Overlook Mountain Fire Tower

Views of the Hudson Valley, Catskill Mountains, Ashokan Reservoir and Overlook Hotel ruins. 2.5 mile trail, with vertical rise beginning to end at 1,400 feet. Rated moderately difficult. Weekends and holidays, June - Columbus Day.

Kaaterskill Falls

Highest cascading waterfall in New York State. Scenic marked hiking trails and spectacular views of the Hudson Valley. Access the bottom of the falls from Route 23A. Access to the top of the falls take Route 23A west to the Town of Haines Falls, make right onto County Route 18, follow to Laurel House Lane. Park at the end of the Lane and walk straight down the beaten path where a view worth seeing is waiting for you.
